Introducing our new floral and botanical wallpaper designs
Standing strong as one of the hottest wallpaper trends of 2021, floral wallpaper shows no sign of decline in popularity any time soon. Another top design trend this year is using wallpaper to welcome the outdoors in. The inspiration behind our new floral and botanical wallpaper
So, what’s the story behind these new wallpaper designs? It’s best told in artist Natasha Coverdale’s own words:
“An ode to England at the height of summer. Triangle sandwiches, melting ice creams. No rush, but a gentle play. Comfort and nostalgia. Fresh cut grass and pastel-coloured cottages. Happiness bubbling like a glass of summer fizz. Inspired by summer holidays in Devon, the wildflowers and England’s hedgerow mess.”

Lick x Studio Coverdale floral and botanical wallpapers
The Lick x Studio Coverdale floral and botanical wallpaper range has expanded to include a new wallpaper design in 2 colour-ways. Introducing: Village Cricket.
Both whimsical and delicate, this pretty design is softer than the more intense Mars Meadow & Electric Poppies wallpaper designs from our collection.
With a stunning pattern that represents a meadow of wild flowers, this wallpaper is all about bringing the outside into your home. The colour choices that Natasha Coverdale has made in these designs are very soft, and even though the pattern is very detailed, this design doesn't demand too much from you.
Let’s take a closer look at the colours.
Village Cricket 01: green floral and botanical wallpaper
First up, there’s Village Cricket 01. The green and pink palette in this will help any space in your home feel that much more inviting. Use it to brighten up a dark hallway or to spruce up a downstairs bathroom. Or choose to spoil your guests by papering your guest bedroom with it.

Village Cricket 02: pink floral and botanical wallpaper
Next up, there’s Village Cricket 02. This wonderfully warming wallpaper shows just how much colour choices can completely change the effect of a design. Much more subtle and soothing than Village Cricket 01, it would be perfect in a main bedroom, with a gentle and understated palette of creams, pinks and blues.
Looking to amp up the luxury levels in a bathroom in your home? Paper it with Village Cricket 02. Or use it in your living room if you’re looking to add some colour but prefer a more neutral palette.
